Madhu Mita is an Indian filmmaker who lived across 7 different countries in her formative years. Her exposure to different cultures and people gave her an acute realisation that emotions are universal. Madhumita believes she is genre-agnostic and therefore wants to explore different genres in different languages as long as they are rooted in human emotions. She has directed 7 features so far (4 in Tamil, 1 in Telugu, and 2 in Hindi) and has 2 web series (Tamil-Telugu) in development with leading OTT platforms. Her dream project is an international creature feature set in rural India.
