Garry Shandling

Kaia is a genius. ~ Garry Shandling, comedian

About the Class:

  • Nothing will advance your writing career faster than training and notes from a development executive. In Kaia’s career she’s made 5 major motion pictures, and seen the development process through from screenplay to box office. You’re going to learn to think in high concept, and determine which projects you should work on next. You’ll also get notes on one of your projects from Kaia.
  • Notes from a buyer will teach you how to re-write, position and sell your projects. Ideal for writers if you have at least one pilot and/or feature ready for industry advancement. (If you’re new to screenwriting, or have been writing for less than 2yrs, this is not a class you’re ready for yet.)
  • Your Challenge! This is a highly engaging class, where your writing is challenged at the exec level, and Kaia and your classmates read your work. Executives DNF scripts all day (Did Not Finish). Kaia will provide feedback for you on one screenplay… up to where she DNFs your script. So you’ll learn how execs are looking at your project and responding. If you succeed in getting her to read your entire script, you’ll win a complimentary private coaching session with her as a prize (additional value $400).

Class Size is Limited to 15 students. First Come.
