Written in the Ashes

WRITTEN IN THE ASHES

Kaia’s debut historical novel, Written in the Ashes, features the untold story of the events that led up to the burning of the Great Library of Alexandria, Egypt. It follows the life and death of celebrated philosopher/astronomer Hypatia of Alexandria. A novel full of powerful women working together against impossible odds, it’s one of the first books of its kind to illustrate the hero’s journey for women.

“Written in the Ashes is one of those rare novels that sets ‘history’ afire, to bathe readers in the glow of a greater, hotter truth. Fans of the Mists of Avalon will find this romantic/alchemical/feminist/spiritual epic equally captivating.” -Tom Robbins, New York Times bestselling author of Even Cowgirls Get the Blues
